RPS EXPRESS 1st Edition, 2025
Dear Parents, Learners and Friends.
It is with great privilege for me to write the Principal’s note as the acting Principal of Rynfield Primary. This school term has been a busy, but successful one, marked by great achievements across academics, sports, and cultural activities.
In the area of sports, this term has seen great performances by our athletes and swimmers. RPS placed 2nd overall at the Inter-Primary Athletics against other strong schools. Another highlight includes a consecutive win from our ‘A’ Swim Team, who have been the Ekurhuleni champions since 2018. From friendly meets to main, competitive events, our athletes and swimmers have showcased their skills, teamwork, and determination. Our coaches and teachers have been instrumental in nurturing the talents of each learner, fostering an environment of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Behind every success, the support of our school staff and parents always play a crucial role. The strong partnership between home and school has been key to the overall success of our school. Together, we will continue to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
Even though our school had a successful term, we also suffered a heartbreaking loss of a Grade 1 learner. We would like to extend our support and strength to the parents of Lubanzi Nhlapo. It is also with a very grateful heart that I thank the RPS community for their support of his family during a very difficult time.
As the term comes to a close, it is clear that the collective effort of the RPS community is a true strength all on its own.
With such a strong foundation at our school, I look forward to the upcoming term, which I am sure will be as bright as
Mr Dirk Bloem
Acting Principal
