Many of our learners bravely stepped up this term. Whether it was with new challenges in the classroom, on the sportsfield, at chess or practising for the concert. We applaud you. The sense of accomplishment was so heart-warming to see. Keep moving forward boys and girls – you can do it.

Out heartfelt thanks to the RPS family – the staff, the children and their parents for ensuring Term 2 was a great a one. Term 2 is always an extremely busy one, culminating in Controlled Tests. Hence, the winter holidays are perfectly timed!

We have enjoyed a lot of sunshine, both literally and figuratively at RPS this term. Our first term has been a short and
an intense one and we must applaud our staff and learners for going above and beyond.

On reflection of Rynfield Primary’s journey through 2023, I can proudly say that our success this year is attributed to both consistency and dedication. The pervasive dedication of our teachers and learners including a generous sprinkling of consistency of purpose has contributed to the overall achievements of RPS.

The cherry on the top has most definitely been our nomination as a School of Excellence in the Premier Awards. A fantastic collective effort by staff, children, parents and community as a whole. How privileged am I to lead a School that is brimful of opportunity. Wishing everyone a relaxing ‘break’. Just enough time to recharge the batteries and get ready for the ten week final term of 2023.

Heartfelt thanks to the RPS Staff, and parents for your wonderful support of our beautiful School. Then to the heartbeat of RPS, our learners. Boys and girls it is your energy, heart and spirit which keeps our School afloat. Each one of you has a unique role to play at Rynfield and we encourage you to keep on trying your best in all that you do, both in and out of the classroom.

What a successful Term 1 we have all enjoyed! The year started off with a bang. By the end of the first week, albeit only a three day week, our academic programme was in full swing and we had hosted our first athletics meeting. The foot was on the accelerator and we were off. A huge bouquet of thanks to our Staff and Learners, without whom we would not have achieved such great success this term.

We enjoyed such a successful 2022, in the classroom, on the sportsfield and culturally. Our children were once again active and involved and there was a great buzz around the School. The mighty RPS ship was moving forward.
