The RPS Term 2 calendar is jam packed – from senior netball and rugby to mini-netball, valkie rugby and mini-soccer, our Rynfielders will be busy all term. Good luck to all our coaches and players for the various sporting seasons. We wish you all the best and trust that you will enjoy yourselves. Remember the importance of sportsmanship, heart, spirit and courage in every game that you play.

Welcome back to Term 2! To our learners, may this term be filled with curiosity, determination and achievement. To our parents and staff, thank you for your ongoing support and dedication. Your role in shaping and guiding our learners is truly valued.

Term 1 has been a short, but incredibly busy term. Well done to the Staff and Learners for all their hard work, whether in the classroom, sportsfield or in the pool. You have done us proud. Parents, a special thanks, as without your support we would not be able to function effectively. Thank you for paying your School Fees and generally supporting our school – it is appreciated.

Last week we announced House Captains for 2026. A big congratulations to the learners that were selected. We trust that these learners will uphold the RPS values and continue to be guiding lights throughout the year, leading all learners toward success.

Last week our A and B swimming teams competed at their respective Inter-Primary Individual Galas where they both placed 2nd overall. One thing is for sure – our swimmers swam with all their hearts.

Although some subject tests have already been written, our seniors will be busy with the majority of their term tests for the next two weeks. On behalf of the School, I would like say, good luck! RPS has once again, had a phenomenal athletics season. Congratulations to the 7 RPS Athletes who have made it through to compete at the upcoming Gauteng Champs.

On Friday, we enjoyed a small ‘family picnic’ which ignited new friendships between learners and parents, as our Grade 1’s and their families join our RPS Family.

Our school participated against 7 other schools at the Inter-Primary Athletics and placed 2nd overall. Our athletes competed with such heart and spirit and we are enormously proud of them. Congratulations Team RPS!

We would liked to wish our RPS athletes and our Sports Department every success for Inter-Primary Athletics. Give it all you’ve got. Remember heart, spirit, character and courage! We are proud of you for representing RPS.
