Ekurhuleni North District and GDE Head Office organise annual awards for School sports, youth and culture. The purpose of the awards is to honour Schools, learners and educators for their meritorious achievements during the academic year. Last year, our School was a finalist for the District awards in the Primary School of the year section.

On 17 February 2023, our Heads of Sport, Mr Francis and Mrs Smit attended the Awards Ceremony at the East Rand School of Arts.

Our school placed 2nd to Laerskool van Riebeek Park and Laerskool Impala placed 3rd. 

Rynfield Primary was the only English medium School on the East Rand who placed in the top 3 Schools in our district.

We are incredibly proud of our sport staff, educators, learners and parents. Without the collective spirit at RPS, receiving an award such as this would not be possible. We will continue to strive and be the best that we can be.
