Promotion Requirements are as follows:

Exams are written in June and November in Grades 4 to7.

Grades 1 - 7 are assessed according to the 7 point scale:

7 : 80% - 100%  –  Outstanding achievement
6 : 70% - 79%  –  Meritorious achievement
5 : 60% - 69%  –  Substantial achievement
4 : 50% - 59%  –  Adequate achievement
3 : 40% - 49%  –  Moderate achievement
2 : 30% - 39%  –  Elementary achievement
1 : 0% - 29%  –  Not achieved

We follow a merit system where pupils are rewarded for a positive work ethic by receiving merits which earn points for their respective houses. These pupils are identified weekly and stand up for acknowledgement in our Junior and Senior Assemblies.

Our annual prize-giving for Grades 4 - 7 is held at the end of the year, to celebrate the pupils’ academic achievements.

The Schools Act states that all stakeholders in education must accept responsibility for the organisation of schools, and points out that parents and members of local communities are often in the best position to know what a school really needs and what its problems are.
